![]() ![]() I can't wrap my head around how a relatively-sane person could try and validate such a claim. What harm does (non-cheating, non-piracy) modding do? I can understand that not every developer releases dedicated modding tools/supports modding directly (since this requires time/effort/resources), but to go from there and say "Because modding isn't directly/implicitly supported, it's Evil and Disrespects The Developers" seems to me like complete insanity. To me, the difference between "tampering" to crack a game/pirate it (a bad thing) and "tampering" to make mods (a good thing) is so vast that I can't even think of an analogy to illustrate how vast.
